Bye 2015, Hi 2016
Overall in 2015, there are many things that I gained, at the same time I lose things as well.
That is why people say, you can't have it all, sometimes you need to lose in order to gain!
To me, 2015 was a fighting year, everyday I fight with time, fight with people, chasing after what I defined as the "future". I gained knowledge, I gained experiences, I followed through my 2015 resolution religiously.
Looking back, I humbly think I achieved at least 80% of it (which marks an "A" grade in examination), which to me is a great achievement, though I know I can do better. :)
Despite all gains or whatsoever "achievements", I was rather defeated towards the end of the year!
Reason? Yes, I broke up (to friends who are rather shy to seek confirmation)!
I couldn't complete one of my 2015 resolutions that I set (together with her of course), that is to love her more and spend more time with her.
And yes, it became my biggest regret of year 2015.
Many wonder what was the reason, many thought we could last, they thought they could hand us the "angpao", but unfortunately, sometimes things don't turn out the way we thought it would be (Reality of life).
Here is how I view our relationship in the past. In our relationship, we had been through knowing, getting along, doubts, distant and in the end, separation.
It was great knowing this girl, she taught me how to love, how to be sharing, how to express feelings and how simple happiness can be.
Also, she has some of the most interesting interests/hobbies which I don't see myself doing but honestly not a bad things to know; for example, she likes art stuffs, baking and reading + "experimenting" about healthy food and products, fancy food stuffs (to me Starbucks was fancy once). When she likes the things she do, she usually goes quite detail about it, so even though sometimes I sort of half understand when she tries to explain, I still manage to capture some key points. As a result, I can't agree more how all these little things allow me to create some small topics among friends at times when we get stuck in awkward silent conversation. haha.
Getting along was not that difficult, as we do share many things in common, we are both calm and modest people, our temper don't go Tsunami all the time, we eat modestly, we talk gently, we have views that always complement each other's, we enjoy being healthy (even if that means eating tasteless food), we can quickly agree on things that we like or dislike, or just put it in simpler term, we are on the same channel and frequency la..... adui!
Of course getting along did not mean two individuals are same totally, we do have some "variances". For example, she is more of a hygienic person (don't get me wrong, I am hygienic too but she is a bit more than that). So, I remember how silly it was during her visit to my hostel at the very beginning, I had to get up early and clean the toilet (you can imagine a house full of guys). But honestly, she didn't ask for too much, now I think back is actually basic need to have a clean toilet! haha.
We stayed together for a short period during the University, but that was when we experienced running a mini family. Many say you won't get to know a person completely until you stay with that person! From cleaning the room to cleaning the house on a regular basis, to preparing meals, handling bills, running house errands, fixing defects and what not... Apparently, we get along and we did it quite well. Somehow, you'll just have the feeling someone is right for you, and you basically have no doubt about it.
We also have different strengths and weaknesses, her strengths are strong mind, empathetic, fast-learning, she picks up things fast and have photographic memories. I am creative, reasonable, extremely good-tempered, responsible, practical, logical and analytical (sounds like writing a resume). I'm more emotional sometimes and she is fickle-minded. But somehow, we just able to complement each other. One also said, relationship/marriage is putting two imperfect individuals together to complete each other.
After the so called "most passionate period 热恋期", things slow down a little, don't get me wrong not that we don't love each other. We enjoyed each other's companion, we are comfortable to have each other, we have got ultimate goals that we are pursuing all along. However, we spend relatively less time together as we work different place, meet different people and have different challenges and opportunities (unlike during the University time).
Slowly, we develop doubts as to whether or not this person still love me the same or more or even less? We do assure each other in our own ways, as you know girl and guy are from two different planets. Girls sometimes need assurance to be expressed in words, plan a little surprises, have a little bit more romance and fun experiences and have a little bit of pampering. Well for guys, at this stage of life, we tend to assure in a way girls could not articulate, we tend to be a little quiet sometimes, thinking about career, thinking about future, making financial planning, making sure that things are in order for both and both's families, thinking of safety, sometimes even meaning sacrificing time, own interest and energy just to make things a little bit better. Many more, what not definitions of a mature man.
In theory, I understand the women's planet, I remember reading a lot books about relationship when I was younger. Whatever success and failure examples I have seen so far, most couple split for the same reason. I am aware of that. Sometimes in practical day to day basis, it is some little things that we neglect that counts. I was too focused on being a traditional mature man which I define and as a result neglecting little things/actions she or rather WE need to nurture our relationship.
Then, when we were not in good terms, instead of open book and revise the key ingredients for making a "healthy relationship" dish, I became jealous, being childish, doing silly things which poisoned our relationship day by day. Accumulation of toxic thoughts can wipe out all that we built in split seconds (Friends, if you are also having this problem, quickly borrow some books and revise the recipe of love).
Distant. Work, work, work, travel, travel, travel have created distance and it further accelerated the process of separation. Less time, less comfort, less assurance. Regardless, I never forget she is the one meant to be, in my heart I told myself I will make it up for her one day. However, in my heart I said. She is not a heart reader. I did not tell her enough how much she actually mean to me. Therefore, I don't and shouldn't expect understanding from her, nobody will be there forever tolerating my own negligence.
In the end, of course is separation. Of course, it is a little bit of waste. But life goes on. It is all about making choice and decision. Things that I don't show appreciation, others will. Utmost normal things in life. I don't think she exists to just teach me a lesson, we both gained in this relationship, more than we actually lose. Only both of us know best. Lastly, I feel strongly about loving someone doesn't mean owning it. Sometimes, when you know what's best for the one you love, you just have to let her go.
One once said,
If you love her, let her go.
If she comes back to you, she is yours forever.
If she doesn't, then she was never meant to be.
To those who are still in a relationship, from time to time, revise! Spend time to nurture your relationship, don't wait till it's gone. Taking things for granted is what we do always.. sometimes not realising it..
Despite being on the same channel and frequency, sometimes like a piano/guitar, you still need to tune it from time to time.
P/S: I am not emotional/sad and I'm slowly moving on. I decided to put in on this blog for a simple reason, I end where we start. haha.
Happy new year all, wishing you a blessed 2016.

Important messages
but if you don't tell /don't tell properly, people wouldn't know /wouldn't get it.
You don't expect people to understand if you don't convey your message properly.
Next thing is, again, don't assume that people will understand...
If you don't follow these rules, whatever that is gonna happen, you don't put the blame on others.
One very simple example that happened to me today explains what am I gonna tell in this post.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I always plan my time. "Sometimes" when I've got lot work to do, I wouldn't wanna waste time unnecessarily when I could settle tasks in a more efficient way.
Yesterday afternoon, dad told me to go his office today (morning) to help him with some of his work, as usual.
I promised.
I was thinking to myself. Since my car is already time to service and since there is a workshop nearby my dad's company, I could settle things one shot; where I could help my dad, at the same time fix my period-red myvi.
This morning, I managed to wake up early and I thought things could go well as what I've planned, but suddenly my fat sister told me she was going for slimming. Worse still, she told me she had to take my car because her car ran out of petrol.
Me being a kind brother, told her nicely that I wanted to go for car service, but I DIDN'T mention about helping my dad (that was my first mistake).
So my sister's reply was, "Aiyo, my car no petrol la, you go service tomorrow only lar.."
I was like, well, sounds OK.. anyway she was in a rush for the slimming appointment.
After she went off, I thought, since I can't bring my car to service today and since dad didn't remind me about helping him (I quietly ASSUMED the task was not really urgent), so I thought it's ok to go tomorrow then... I planned this all in my heart and I "pictured" myself telling dad about this and he was okay with it.
My second mistake was I sort of assumed that his work can be delayed as well and third mistake was I sort of expected dad to understand that I don't have a car when I didn't even tell him..
So later on when dad came back in the evening, he was a little unhappy and he said, "told you to come this morning, yet you didn't come..."
I did not have a good answer to explain myself and so I re-think and analyse the whole scenario which led to this ending..
Just because I didn't inform my dad earlier about the incident this morning, he already assumed that I've forgotten about going to his office... but I can't blame him for assuming because I didn't tell, I don't expect him to know.
I can easily put the blame on my sister by saying "neh, jie took my carrr larr"
but I didn't, because it's not entirely her fault, it was mine also because I didn't tell her I have to go office to help my dad. So I can't expect her to know..
So moral of the story is, tell people what you wanna do, if the thing that you gonna do, involves others, directly, or indirectly.. so that people know what exactly you're doing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another story which also explains my words:
Happened also on yesterday night,
my sister is just like me, maybe that's how our family do things, because my dad has the same bad habit as well, that is, "sometimes" we do things and we don't bother explaining or telling others.
So yesterday, she got an interview at a childcare nursery. Apparently, she simply applied on jobstreet last summer and they called her up few days ago for an interview. She was not interested to get the job at all but she wanted to go anyway.
She went at 4pm.. and she had no idea what time the interview was gonna end.
So around 7 - 8 pm, my mum and I were wondering where did she go, mum was saying that interview cannot be so long and doesn't really make sense that childcare nursery open until so late. Then my mum started calling her, but she didn't pick up, called many times and no one picked up....
My mum got quite worried, and I could understand, because recently there are really lots of bad news regarding security in Malaysia, such as 8 years old girl got raped in the toilet, a man attempted to rape a lady on a bus, acid splasher and so on...
I asked her boyfriend and her boyfriend wasn't sure where was my sister and he couldn't reach her as well, so mum got more worried.
Since we "roughly" know where is the "childcare center" (as my sister also roughly told me the location), we decided to go and look for her, and in the end we managed to spot the period-red myvi and we stopped and looked for her.
Apparently, that so called "childcare center" is not really a childcare center but more of an English literature tuition center for kids. My sister was still in there and she said her interview ends on 8:30pm. She was kinda shocked and slightly pissed of our "surprise visit".
I think/"assume"
Her first mistake was, she didn't tell me exactly where she will be going when I asked her.
Her second mistake was, she didn't tell clearly that it was an English literature tuition center but she told me it was a childcare nursery instead. Why is this message important and should be conveyed properly? because with common sense, we know childcare nurseries normally don't open until so late, since childcare service is meant for busy working parents, and 7 - 8 pm ? who works until 7 - 8 pm? hahaha
Her third mistake was, she didn't at least text us saying she might be home late and she didn't text us despite my mum's limitless phone calls.. until one point I "assumed" she turned off her phone because at one point my mum couldn't reach her already..
That's how important to deliver right and accurate messages.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As we also know, many aircraft crashes that caused many deaths happened due to failure in communication or due to failure in conveying proper message between pilots, co-pilots and flying crews.
Why, because if your message is improper which doesn't explain/tell the exact meaning or instruction, no one will know the seriousness of things... and the result will be... bomb... and crash...
So, I hope this post does bring out the meaning of what I wanna share. This is as a reminder for myself and for our readers to refer.
*Don't assume...

My childhood dilemma
I wasn't sure whether I was undergoing puberty at that time, but I remembered some friends used to say I sounded like a sissy.
Seriously, I was quite affected. In my heart I wished I could grow up faster and turn into a real man. Sometimes I listened to my own voice, I recorded my own voice and played it back..., then couldn't help but curse myself for sounding like a toad.
You know sometimes, when you speak, what you heard of what you speak is different from what others would hear (slightly different, I guess?). For me I think it sounds totally different.
Today while I was doing some house chores, I listened carefully to my voice as I speak. And I still think what I heard of my voice today is somewhat the same as what I heard last time when I was still a boy.
The only difference is, nowadays people say I have a deep voice, which I don't really agree, because that's not exactly what I heard...
I am unsure whether anyone has the same problem as me? haha
Anyway I think I have grown up, though definition of a "man" is quite subjective and I can't really be sure whether I could be regarded as one, but yeah at least I don't sound like a toad anymore...

Many people might think... cheh, it's just another false prediction, screw it and I continue to live my life. They might think that all these doomsday shits are fake and tend to continue taking earth for granted.

Wedding customs and traditions
This morning I read newspaper and I came across this interesting article about some "weird" wedding customs and traditions around the world. So I thought of sharing them here. :)
Ancient Bulgaria
Nowadays when we talk about wedding, all the couples will find ways to make themselves look more "presentable"; dress nicely, properly groomed and so on. Even if they are born imperfect, they'll put on thick make ups to cover up the defects. However, this does not happen to the Ancient Bulgarian, especially in this area called Kyustendil. Not only they don't bother dressing up nicely, the bride has to make herself look as ugly as and as horrible as possible!
For example, the bride will paint her face black, wear a pair of elven ears, put on unfitted clothes and so on. Besides, she also has to act retarded during the wedding dinner. Examples of retarded actions such as, throwing dung at the guests, dance with animal's bone and etc.
With all these, only the wedding ceremony considered complete. According to their belief, dressing up nicely during wedding will bring jealousy in other people. And Jealousy is like a devil, which will bring bad luck to the couple.
Ancient England
Until 1753, before they amended the wedding's law, there were no diamond rings, no gowns, no wedding certificate and no wedding dinner. There was only a simple wedding ceremony where the couple has to sweep and clean the house under the supervision of local official. It was a way to teach the newly-wed how to do house chores.
Ancient Sparta
On the wedding day, the bride had to dress up like a man! She had to put on mustache, wear man's clothings and shoes. Then she will wait alone in a dark room. At night the groom will appear and "sweep" her away. Only then, she will remove her mustache, man's clothings and dress up as a girl. The reason they practiced this was because, there was one period when homosexuality was a general trend for the Spartans. Therefore, heterosexual partners did not dare to announce their loves and that was why the bride had to dress up like a man....
Ancient France
When talk about the France, everyone will probably think that they sure gonna be damn romantic, but they were actually not that romantic. Think about the wedding ceremony nowadays, for the chinese, we will normally have buffet at the groom's house the night before wedding, then we will have wedding dinner the next day. All these are served with delicious foods.
However, for the ancient France, especially in this area called La Soupe, the bride and the groom have to eat rubbish, as in real rubbish. On the wedding day, they have to sweep their room and the rubbish collected will be made into food. (I still cannot believe that) The most gross thing was, according to the legend, they have to ingest dirty water from the toilet bowl. =.= However, they said the guests were served with proper meal.
How you want your wedding to be?

A relationship - full of different emotions
It is worth notice that for
American marriages began in 1980, about 10 per cent ended up divorce;
For couples married in 1920, the rate was about 18 per cent followed by;
1950 = 30%
1970 = 50%
And for newly-wed in year 1990, the divorce rate was estimated to be 67%.
If the statistic is true, then for every 10 married couples, 6 will end up splitting up and say bye bye…..
Flash back during my grandpa times, divorce was practically not in the context even in the most miserable match of couples. It could be due to wives’ economic dependence on their husbands. But if that’s no longer the issue, emotional forces between couples may be crucial for determining the survival of a marriage.
The differences between how men and women handle their emotions, aside from the biological factors, could be arisen from the differences in emotional worlds boys and girls are exposed to while growing up. Boys are girls are somehow taught very differently in terms of how to handle emotions. In general, parents, especially mothers, when talk to their daughters, they tend to talk more detail the emotional state itself and more about feelings. On the other hand, when they talk to the sons, probably parents may go more detail about causes and consequences of emotions. As a consequence, girls may be more articulate in expressing their feelings in words rather than emotional reactions such as physical fights. Boys on the contrary more likely to express anger “physically” rather than “verbally”.
Girls tend to play together in a smaller group with the emphasis of together-ness and cooperation. While boys normally play in a larger group and the games involved are normally more competitive; dead or alive, they wanna know who is the winner. If somebody’s got hurt during the game, girls will gather around to help the girl who is crying. But sadly, when a guy got hurt, he is expected to stand up and continue the game or may be left out by the gang and regarded as the sissy in the group. As girls and guys grow up in such circumstances, girls become more sensitive in reading emotional signals at both verbal and non-verbal levels. They are also better in expressing and communicating their feelings compared to the guys. Guys on the other hand master the ability to mask their emotions when it comes to pride, fear or hurt. Or expressing their emotions in a more destructive manner.
Studies say that, for the wives, intimacy means talking things over, especially talking about the relationship itself. The men sometimes don’t understand what the wives want from them. They say, ‘I want to do things with her, and all she wants to do is talk.’ Of course not all men are like that, sometimes husbands would also want to settle problems in the relationship, such as problems related to communication. But somehow, probably because men grow up from a childhood where communication and expression of feelings are less emphasized, when attempt to express their complaint/dissatisfaction, often expressing it as anger, in a wrong way, wrong tone with a poor choice of word. Anyway, at times, wives may express their complaints in a wrong way as well.
[Stories attained from Goleman, 1996.]
a)
Fred: Did you pick up my dry cleaning?
Ingrid: (In a mocking tone) “Pick up your dry cleaning? Pick up your own damn dry cleaning. What am I, your maid?
Fred: Hardly. If you were a maid, at least you’d know how to clean.
b)
Pamela and her daughter went shoe shopping while her husband, Tom, went to a bookstore. They agreed to meet in front of the post office in an hour, and then go to a matinee. Pamela was prompt, but there was no sign of Tom. “Where is he? The movie starts in ten minutes,” Pamela complained to her daughter. “If there’s a way for your father to screw something up, he will.”
When Tom showed up ten minutes later, happy about having run into a friend and apologizing for being late, Pamela lashed out with sarcasm: “That’s okay – it gave us a chance to discuss your amazing ability to screw up every single plan we make. You’re so thoughtless and self-centered!”
The return of Tom’s apology, was a statement from the wife saying “thoughtless and self-centered”…
According to the author, Pamela’s way of expressing her emotion is a character assassination, a critique of the person, not the deed, which is more than just a complaint.
There is a huge difference between complaints and personal criticism. In a complaint, a wife will state what exactly makes her feel sad, and criticizes reasonably on her husband’s action, not her husband, by saying how it made her feel (referring back to the first story, the wife should say):
“When you forgot to pick up my clothes at the cleaner’s it made me feel like you don’t care about me.”
This is an expression of basic emotional intelligence which is positive, not aggressive or passive.
But in a personal criticism she might say:
“You’re always so selfish and uncaring. It just proves I can’t trust you to do anything right.”
This kind of criticism leaves the person on the receiving end feeling ashamed, disliked, blamed, and defective – all of which are more likely to lead to a defensive response than to steps to improve things (Goleman, 1996).
In a relationship, there’re many factors which to lead a divorce/break up in couples, one of it could be the contributory of emotional forces. A good emotional management along side with good communication with the partner may be crucial to hold a relationship together. Understanding the nature of gender differences in terms of their emotions could also lead to a better understanding between couples and a happier future, hopefully….

Tiscra Mouse
Today, I woke up early, so decided to go campus earlier, for once...
Class at tiscra 2 today, and obviously the first thing to do when come to tiscra, besides looking for a strategic and a more "clean-looking" seat, is to login to facebook...
Suddenly..........
Yucks..... why is the mouse oily? why are there stains on the mouse? What are those stains???? Who left those stains on the mouse??? OMG tiscra is always so dirtyyyy. (Stef)
Then, we started guessing what could those stains probably be....
***
hmm... it might be someone who eats while using the computer, and use the mouse instantly after licking their fingers.
Or...
it could be someone who has problem with their sweat glands and sweat bloody a lot or it's just someone who is bloody F*t who has a super oily palm.
***
Before we could have a proven conclusion, suddenly the person next to Stef.....
HAAAAA CHIUUUUUUU..... sniff sniff sniff, rub his nose [sneeze]
Finally we know what are the stains on the mouse....
Worse still, we observed that guy for a few minutes,
after he sneezed, he started biting his finger and we could hear crunching sound...
Stef felt SOOO disgusted, she instantly logged off and went to sanitize her hands....
**THE END**
Lastly, if you're a super hygiene freak, please bring gloves to tiscra next time. :)
and also if you're a super dirty freak, please wear gloves too.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.

2012.. is it comingg??
Are human species gonna disappear just like the dinasours?
Are the nostradamus predictions accurate?
Is the movie 2012 a warning to all of us?
***
All these while, Malaysia has always been safe, no natural disaster like earthquakes, tornado etc. But, ever since the tsunami in year 2004, everything has changed. Gradually...and thats why ppl dont realise it.
Recently, the myth of 2012 becomes more apparent. More and more places/countries which used to be known as natural disaster free zone are no longer safe. Floods, tsunami, earthquakes etc are happening in places that never once happened. Just look at our country and neighbouring countries, the 2004 tsunami; the frequency to which tsunami and earthquake attack Indonesia; the flood in Thailand..........Dont you get the hint??
It is also frightening to know that most of the earthquakes that occur recently are not minor ones. Leading us back to the deadliest tsunami in Dec 26 2004, it is actually the consequence of
See the serious-ness??
Another not-so-long ago earthquake in Haiti, more than 200,000 people have died, and approximately a million were left homeless.
We read about these, we know and we pity these victims. But its always, arrrhh ya...there's earthquake in that country... after awhile, we dont remember it anymore. Not until another disaster happen again. Why like that? Thats because we never encounter one before. Instead of feeling grateful, we take this for granted.
Well, its time for us to be concerned. Malaysia is not as safe anymore.
15November2010 -> Floods in Klang Valley resulting in massive jam and obstructing the Putraline operation.
And this--- > Tornado spotted in Melacca (2008)

The damage..
Not only in melacca, recently, there's also tornado in Penang and Perlis:(
The world has changed.

A day out to KL
Today is the day! Special thanks to our School Career Advisor, Ms. Christina V. Supramaniam who informed us about the Biocareer Fair today at KLCC, which sort of brought US together again since the very very lassssst outing (don't remember when was the last time we went out).
Me and Stef took train, in the train Stef received Ivan's message saying he might come bit late :( The first sign of ffking, but we believed that Ivan surely has his reason :)
Shortly after we reached KLCC, Htennek, Carmen and Shin arrived too. Htennek proudly said that he's got an illegal parking which is not obstructing the traffic. hmm, Me and Stef felt jealous and never knew such illegal parking spot exists in somewhere as congested as Kuala Lumpur.
hmm, apparently, the one who we thought would definitely FFK arrived first before all of us, congratulation WEIKEAT. :))) and he already registered himself and were already in the hall when we all arrived. EELEEN didn't come ... :(
Honestly, the exhibition was kinda disappointing and can see that biotech is still quite under-developed in Malaysia... not many booths there and not really very interesting nor informative.
When we all just started collecting brochures (cause we don't wanna leave with empty hands), Wei Keat already start complaining and wanted to go for lunch because before we really arrive at the hall, he has already seen everything there at least 3 times... >.< Lunch at Madam Kwan, there was where Carmen confessed that she wanted a transparent gown for her wedding with Bryan. hahaha
(Htennek's dessert: A for Aurea)
After settling the bill, we walked to Htennek's car and proceeded to the next destination, Bukit Bintang. His car was miles away, when we reached to the secluded area where he claimed as free, safe and illegal parking, we finally understand that actually everything has a price, there was nothing as free parking in KL, and his price was RM 100. hahahaha
UNIQLO, after one week opening, still got many people come for it, though many just come because they have the "kia su" attitude, "Since everyone goes, I must go too!". From our observation, many just went in and out without buying anything. But our Htennek has got some harvest! hahaha
SNOWFLAKES, Pavillion was sort of our ultimate destination of the day, because Carmen has never been to Pavillion before. :) A lot of people there, we finally got a place and we got some nice camwhore pictures after settling down! but for some weird reason, we ordered one extra Japan Combo. Since Ivan said he can join us for dinner, we decided to tapao for Ivan, because Htennek claimed that Snowflake ice will not melt. Though Shin was still in doubted with Htennek's words but the rest chose to believe Htennek cause the way he said it, or in fact everything he said today sounded extra convincing. Weird, that didn't always happen...
Wei Keat has to go back early because his dad's birthday today. Happy Birthday Uncle. Meaning Shin and Carmen have to go back too because they need Wei Keat's transport :) We walked them to the Monorail station, on the way, we saw this static "YES" robot statue standing by the walkway. Htennek eagerly wanted to take picture with the robot, Stef too.
Asked Stef when standing beside the robot, "hmm, is this real human in robot mascot or just a statue?"
Before she could have a second thought, the robot moved and scared her like the cockroach did. Stef's involuntary reaction was priceless! She immediately jumped and screamed as though she was being molested... Later we could see tears in her eyes.. hahaha..
Apparently, there were more than one "Yes" robot, Stef didn't want to take photo with the one which frightened her and she went to the next robot and we took a picture. :)
After seeing them off, we went to have a walk in Sungei Wang while waiting for Ivan to have dinner at the Lot 10 "Food Heritage". I heard there are quite lot nice foods because there are famous chefs from all over the place, but mainly chinese cuisine.
(We walked to T-bowl in Sungei Wang to have a look)
(The place where we were supposed to have dinner)
Suddenly, Htennek received a call from his dad, ops he has to go home early... so our dinner cancelled :( but nvm next time we should all go together again :)
Lastly, SNOWFLAKES DOES MELT!! We were fooled... grrrhh Htennekkkk...
After a looong day, time to get back to assignmentssss.. !

Busy, Friends
I found this old picture which I edited,

Anyway the latest eruption, on the 5th if not mistaken, has killed around 64 people; then we have serious floods in Thailand, Perlis and Kedah... are these the indications of end of the world?
Looking at the picture, I start to feel like life in Uni is not as happening as it used to be...
perhaps we all are getting busier with studies and assignments so we become more and more "stingy" to allocate time for friends to carry out some fun activities.
Though it may not be true for other courses but it's quite apparent in our Year bioscience...
It could be due to the size of the class, or the combination of people from everywhere which don't really match each other?
Or it's just that the effort is not there?
I remember last time in high school, teachers always complain that our year; the 1990 born are very passive and we are more selfish and care only for ourselves... although not SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN yet, I can see some true in the statement. :(
At times, we're busy chasing success in our life to an extent where we might neglect the merit of family and friends.... sometimes it's ok to slow down the pace in life and look at the sceneries around, see is there anything worth you stopping to have a look or care.

End Sugar Subsidy?!
"KUALA LUMPUR: The Government may remove its subsidy on sugar as a way to get Malaysians to become more healthy.
The removal of the subsidy could increase the price of sugar by almost 70%, and this should discourage people from consuming so much of it.
Currently, the Government spends about RM720mil a year subsidising sugar."

Wow, our Government is sooo thoughtful.....
so called want the Malaysians to become more healthy~
just because MAYBE our Government is running out of money, they plan to stop subsidizing for sugar....
FUNNY BETUL.
If our government really stop sugar subsidy, this will really increase the burden of the Rakyat instead of helping the Rakyat...
Besides, if our government really want us to become healthy, then they should make us stop eating nasi lemak, roti canai.... etc
In my opinion, if government doesn't "masuk pocket" so much, they sure be able to subsidize for sugar which only costs about RM 720 million a year~~~
