Be Yourself!

Ya! Be yourself!
Be yourself literally means be YOU as in the original you but not others.

Without noticing, we always do look/check/analyze/comment about people around;
We look/check/analyze/comment about how good/bad a person is, about the way people dress, about how people communicate, about how pretty/ugly someone may look… a lot of good and bad stuffs..,
Sometimes we criticize, sometimes we feel envious.

For those who criticize, take a look at yourselves, are you any better than the people you criticize?
For those who envy, also take a look at yourselves, maybe you’re not really that FAR from the person you envy.
The problem is that, sometimes, for both situations, we forgot to look at ourselves.

When you look at yourself,
No doubt you might find yourself not as good as others in some ways,
But do consider that, there’s sure something you can do better than others.
After all, people ain’t perfect.
(God is quite fair with all these..)

Some people spend their entire life looking at others,
They envy, they idolize people.
They would think, how I wish I could be like him/her, why am I not like him/her??…. blablabla, all sort of nonsense.
Bear in mind that, there is a difference between looking at others enviously and looking at others as a motivational tool.
If you just spend time envying people, things won’t just happen by luck/accident!
Making things happen is not all about feeling envious, we also need to take actions to work things out.
Make the person you’re envy of as a motivational tool.

However, making others a motivation tool is not saying that we need to copy whatever others do entirely, this is not cloning.
But some people really do imitate people entirely! But that makes them not original, I regard those as people with masks, they have no stand for themselves at all.

I supposed the right attitude is that,
We envy people’s success, we look up to people
At the same time,
We learn, we analyze, and we interpret on our own,
We can differentiate what should and what should not.

Only these, can we make ourselves as original as possible.

Thus, we can always be ourselves. =)

1st Week of June 2009

Monday

I had to wake up really early today (5.00 pm) because i had to accompany my sister for her interview.

The venue of the interview was at University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus and the purpose of the interview was to select the star scholarship holders.

There were totally 9 candidates who applied the same course with my sister and they were all show up that day for the interview.

After she was being interviewed, I brought her to visit our lovely campus and introduce the functions of each building in the campus.

Before we went back home, we had our lunch in the unmc cafe.


Tuesday

There was nothing special on this day since I didn't travel to any places.

However, my sister received a call from the Star and later on she announced that she had been selected for the scholarship. Congratulation again sister and welcome to be our junior, hehe.

I had to pack the clothes and items needed because I was going for a vacation on the next day with my ex-mrsm chinese friends. Really looking forward for the trip at that time.


Wednesday and Thursday

Friday

My friends asked me to go out for gathering tonight. So I went to the kopitiam as they mentioned earlier at 8.00 pm.

We spent almost 3 hours there to chit chat and describe our current lifestyle. Some of my friends study form 6 now, some of them just finished matrix programme and waiting for the approval from local university.


Saturday

I went back to my grandparents' house today which located at Kampar, Perak. I reach there at around 11.00 pm.

My parents talked and helped my grandparents preparing the lunch while me and my siblings played poker cards.

After lunch, we went to Tesco Kampar with my aunt and cousins to had a walk there.

Then, we had dinner with them and my grandparents at a famous restaurant in Kampar.


Sunday

We left my grandparents' house after having breakfast with them because we planned to go shopping at Ipoh Parade. ^^

When we reached there, my family bought the movie tickets at first. They decided to watch Terminator again, haiz.. Since me and my eldest sister watched that movie before, so both of us decided to go shopping.

We managed to shop for three shops only within that 2 hours, but both of us still managed to buy clothes and accessories. Haha.

Then we meet back our parents and siblings to have lunch together. After that, we continued to shop until 4.30 pm and left the shopping mall.



p/s: The time now is 11.10 am and the date is 9 June ( Tuesday).

Genting Highland's Trip ( 4 & 5 of June)

Wednesday

There were totally 7 of us joining this Genting trip. Early in the morning, we took the bus to Taiping and took another express bus from Taiping to Genting. It took approximately 6 hours to reach Genting from Pantai Remis.

When we reach Genting, we checked in for the hotel first to put our luggages. Then we bought both indoor and outdoor themepark tickets.

For outdoor themepark, we played seven different games totally. They were ghost house, pirate ship (the one that freak me out the most), space shot ( I don't dare to play this anymore after the pirate ship), spinner, grand prix fun kart, flume ride and lastly bumper boat.

After that, I left the team and meet my abang angkat who work at Genting. We had dinner together at the First World's food court.


Then, I joined back the team for indoor themepark games, we rode euro express, adult bumper cars, rio float, reindeer cruiser and venice gondola.


Lastly, we watched a midnight show entitled Terminator 4: Salvation. Then we went back to our hotel and slept for 3 hours.


Thursday

We woke up quite late today. After having breakfast in the hotel, we entered the snow world. Its really cold and fun. But time past very fast, we just stayed inside there for half an hour.


Next, we went to shopping to buy the souvenirs for our family and friends. We went back to Taiping at 2.00 pm and reach Pantai Remis 6 hours later.

This Week

Okae, most of you have been wondering what

I have been doing this week.

Firstly, I passed my driving test.

It was a freakish experience which I do not want to repeat again.

I started of with the bukit.

The bukit looks more terrifying

than it is on a normal practice day.

I was no 61 on the list,

so I had plenty of time watching other

students/ candidates.

Some passed.

Some failed.

Some rolled back down the hill.

Some just flew pass without stopping.

With much failures demoed infront of me,

my stomach did a jittery dance.

I felt like throwing up when my turn came.

Slowly, I inched my little Kancil forward.

Braving the hill looming

infront of me.

I accelerated and suddenly, the car

rolled behind.

I could feel that my instructor saying,

"WTF!!!This guy think can bribe this part?!!!!"

OMG.....

The JPJ guy said "Sekali lagi!!!"

MOore of a yell.

So I rolled back and retry.

The second attempt was better than the first.

I managed to get my wheEls on the petak kuninG :)

KODOS KENNETH!!!

wakakaka....

Now the tricky part.

Get the car across the bukit.

I accelarated like mad.....

Clouds of smoke billowed behind me....

Slowly I released the clutch and felt the

car lurch forward.

With precision, I released the handbrake and I

went past then hill.

Yippee.

Next task, parking.

I did my parking with presicion and ease.

Lol, I forgot to let the handbrake and I

left it on.

So I did my 3 poin t turn wrongly.

Luckily the JPJ guy did not see it.

With that, I did all my bukit, parking and turns.

Now for the road.

Bear in mind that I did

not have prior notice of my dad's bribe.

I started my car and forgot to put

in signal lights.

My JPJ was furious that I

forgotten.

He kept shouting at me.

I was so scared that I failed.

In the end, I passed.

All thanks to the power of money.

I know her the best

She is someone who can be very serious but playful sometimes.
You can hardly make her interested as she is hardly entertained by lame stuff.
But she herself is being lame most of the time.
When she is uninterested you can’t even tickle her laugh, still she often put on smiles as manners.
In contrast, when she is in the mood, she will somehow entertain the others.

Sometimes she is being indecisive and often makes wrong decisions.
However, she believe every wrong decisions lead to different outcomes,
but in the end they all can lead her to the goal, just that it might take a longer time to achieve.
So, she thinks… SO WHAT?!..

She can be very confident with something she is used to,
But when she comes to her weaknesses, she becomes kinda timid and lost confidence.
At times when she feels insecure or panic, she will play with her hair a little and smile to cover her feeling of insecurity.
Whatever it is, she will always try to portray a confident look by walking/speaking/doing things confidently.

When she is not in the mood, tired or lazy, you can hardly hear her talk,
Even if she speaks, you can barely hear her.
Btw, she ain’t anti-social; sometimes she talks like chicken backside!
It really depends, but she ain't emotional!

There are three possibilities why she puts her hands inside her pockets, 
provided that she wears pants or jeans with pockets.
First, her pants probably very loose~
2^nd, she is telling you that she is not available!
3^rd, it looks more fashionable in a way~

She likes anything but not everything.
She doesn’t particularly like something very much,
Neither does she dislike something very much.
She always thought the simpler the better,
as long as it can save troubles.

She might look unapproachable and not friendly,
However when you get to know her more,
You’ll find that she is actually not a bad person to be with.

She hardly feel depressed over things
but when she does, it's surely a serious one.
Overall, she is always a happy person =D

Minnie's Summary of May 09

Finally, I'm back in Pangeelapong.

Time doesn't seem to be enough eversince holiday started!

Anyway talking about this MAY..

It can be considered as the most suffering yet the most relaxing month!

Why did I say so?

First we have our exams till 20th of May,

days before the 20th were total hell to me!!

I had to suffer so much to cope with my exam stress and whatsoever...

Anyways, we've finally done with our foundation programme!!

So, on the 21st,

Pangeelapongers went to Tekala Fall,

to celebrate IVAN's birthday and also to relax after so much stressessss

Then, we went for SATAY in Kajang.

On the same day, at night, I went for movie with friends, "Night at the Museum II",

However, I slept through the movie because I was too tired.

I only watched a bit of the starting and the ending,

So I'm sort of DAPAT relate the whole story.

cause~

Beginning:
General: The key to happiness is ...... (the general turned into wax statue again)

Ending:
Larry: I know!! the key to happiness is "Doing the things you like with the person you love"

General: urmm.. I was thinking about "Physical exercise", but your one was good also.....

On the 22nd, I went One Utama with friends, just to shop for stuffs,

Stef was there too with her little sister~

They went there to buy colour papers,

kononnya want to start a new hobby, scrapbook~

I say~ better call it Crapbook~ haha

Anyway, got free Starbucks coffee, thanks stef!

The following days,

I acted like a computer expert,

helped people to fix computers here and there,

from my friends', my neighbour's till my dad's company...

On the 27th, Me and my friends went Melacca for 2 days 1 night trip.

We went to A Famosa!

and guess what,

I met Nottingham people there at the Water Park!

I met Yi Jia and 3 more Nottinghamers, I don't know them =P

What a coincidence right?

Anyway our main purpose to Melacca was to Eat eat and eat!

Had lot fun there =D

On the 29th, me and a few friends went back to Secondary school to join the teachers' day celebration.

mmm.. love to see my teachers and old friendsssss, thank God they still recognise me =D

After that, we went to watch movie at OU, "Night at the Museum II" again,

since I slept through the movie the other day. haha

On the 30th, 10 of us went Bukit Tabur again!!

The night before, my mum kept nagging at me and gave me a lot of pressure.

She was kinda worried and scolded me for inviting so many people to join,

cause she thought the mountain is really no joke, it's not easy to climb and it's definitely not a playground for children.

But I promised my mum to bring everyone back safely.

No doubt, the King Scout's promise was no joke too,

everyone came back one full piece =D

However, my friends swear they will never go again!

*after the super tiring trip, we went makan,
too thirsty!! 29 drinks for 10 person

On the 31st, I went DIM SUM with friends,

then movie again~

"Angels and Demons"
