Tekala Falls - The Start

It wasn't really planned; the original plan was to retreat to one of the usual malls for a short day. Yet, we hoped for a difference; we longed for one too. And hence, with much reference to this blog itself, a choice was voiced out; the opinion was weighed and the decision was made. Let's go to Tekala Falls, said one of us. And everyone looked at each other with eyes brightly lit with hope before nodding in agreement. Hence, it was decided. Tekala Falls, here we come!

The decision to arrive early at campus was much disputed by Jess as she insisted on waking up late (despite saying so, she was caught on Facebook this morning, approximately at 0900 hours). But we nagged her to agree and she finally agreed! But before that, she was asking Stef and Carmen to wake her up as her alarms usually failed her. And so, we have cleared one tiny obstacle of procrastination for our trip to Tekala Falls.

--

It was approximately 8AM when we arrived at campus. Kenneth rushed to the loo to deliver his goods as the rest of us gathered at the SA. Stef and Jess were at the toilet instead and we then met Carmen. When we mentioned that she needed to bring the Bioscience shirt, she was surprised. She was ranting that she never knew about it and she went back to her room to collect it. After awhile, Kenneth came back to us and we headed to Kian Min's car to place the provisions in his car. Upon doing so, we then met Carmen again. And after awhile, Jess and Stef came back walking like models. And then we had our crew and were ready to leave. We left almost immediately.

On the way there, many things were revealed. One of those was that Jess had longed for a swim to the extent that she had the intention of using this trip as an opportunity. As a result, she brought her goggles along and was proud to show it! When Kian Min first arrived at her place, she was proudly telling him and Stef that she has goggles. Only after they laughed did she realize that there was a probability that the goggles idea wasn't the brightest. She hid the goggles but Pangeelapong members never kept these type of secrets from each other. Another thing revealed in the car was regarding Carmen's lack of information regarding the idea of bringing the Bioscience tee-shirt along. The mystery was solved in the following sentence: "Huh? Carmen, you didn't know about it? I posted it on your wall ma. No meh??" Kenneth then sarcastically mocked the speaker about using Facebook as the best means of communication. We passed through the many sites of Nirvana and we finally reached an end. The air was fresh and the area was overrunned by greenery. Here we are, at Tekala Falls.
