A day out to KL

How often do we get to put down all our assignments in hand and pamper ourselves with a day out with friendsssss???

Today is the day! Special thanks to our School Career Advisor, Ms. Christina V. Supramaniam who informed us about the Biocareer Fair today at KLCC, which sort of brought US together again since the very very lassssst outing (don't remember when was the last time we went out).

Me and Stef took train, in the train Stef received Ivan's message saying he might come bit late :( The first sign of ffking, but we believed that Ivan surely has his reason :)

Shortly after we reached KLCC, Htennek, Carmen and Shin arrived too. Htennek proudly said that he's got an illegal parking which is not obstructing the traffic. hmm, Me and Stef felt jealous and never knew such illegal parking spot exists in somewhere as congested as Kuala Lumpur.

hmm, apparently, the one who we thought would definitely FFK arrived first before all of us, congratulation WEIKEAT. :))) and he already registered himself and were already in the hall when we all arrived. EELEEN didn't come ... :(

Honestly, the exhibition was kinda disappointing and can see that biotech is still quite under-developed in Malaysia... not many booths there and not really very interesting nor informative.

When we all just started collecting brochures (cause we don't wanna leave with empty hands), Wei Keat already start complaining and wanted to go for lunch because before we really arrive at the hall, he has already seen everything there at least 3 times... >.< Lunch at Madam Kwan, there was where Carmen confessed that she wanted a transparent gown for her wedding with Bryan. hahaha

(Htennek's dessert: A for Aurea)

After settling the bill, we walked to Htennek's car and proceeded to the next destination, Bukit Bintang. His car was miles away, when we reached to the secluded area where he claimed as free, safe and illegal parking, we finally understand that actually everything has a price, there was nothing as free parking in KL, and his price was RM 100. hahahaha

UNIQLO, after one week opening, still got many people come for it, though many just come because they have the "kia su" attitude, "Since everyone goes, I must go too!". From our observation, many just went in and out without buying anything. But our Htennek has got some harvest! hahaha

SNOWFLAKES, Pavillion was sort of our ultimate destination of the day, because Carmen has never been to Pavillion before. :) A lot of people there, we finally got a place and we got some nice camwhore pictures after settling down! but for some weird reason, we ordered one extra Japan Combo. Since Ivan said he can join us for dinner, we decided to tapao for Ivan, because Htennek claimed that Snowflake ice will not melt. Though Shin was still in doubted with Htennek's words but the rest chose to believe Htennek cause the way he said it, or in fact everything he said today sounded extra convincing. Weird, that didn't always happen...

Wei Keat has to go back early because his dad's birthday today. Happy Birthday Uncle. Meaning Shin and Carmen have to go back too because they need Wei Keat's transport :) We walked them to the Monorail station, on the way, we saw this static "YES" robot statue standing by the walkway. Htennek eagerly wanted to take picture with the robot, Stef too.

Asked Stef when standing beside the robot, "hmm, is this real human in robot mascot or just a statue?"

Before she could have a second thought, the robot moved and scared her like the cockroach did. Stef's involuntary reaction was priceless! She immediately jumped and screamed as though she was being molested... Later we could see tears in her eyes.. hahaha..

Apparently, there were more than one "Yes" robot, Stef didn't want to take photo with the one which frightened her and she went to the next robot and we took a picture. :)

After seeing them off, we went to have a walk in Sungei Wang while waiting for Ivan to have dinner at the Lot 10 "Food Heritage". I heard there are quite lot nice foods because there are famous chefs from all over the place, but mainly chinese cuisine.

(We walked to T-bowl in Sungei Wang to have a look)

(The place where we were supposed to have dinner)

Suddenly, Htennek received a call from his dad, ops he has to go home early... so our dinner cancelled :( but nvm next time we should all go together again :)

Lastly, SNOWFLAKES DOES MELT!! We were fooled... grrrhh Htennekkkk...

After a looong day, time to get back to assignmentssss.. !
