Our class ended late, lasting the whole two hours. It was only after we left when she was glancing at us, brightly lighted by a cheerful smile. She then posed the question; she asked if we were going out. One of the two who drives suggested otherwise and her heart sank. A smile changed into a frown as she realize the outcome of the day - they might not be going out the McD to dine. But she stayed strong and continued. We walked away from the classroom.
We were discussing on where to eat. There were no suggestions, as usual. He, the one who decides at most times was absent. Instead, a voice spoke with clarity. She called him a stupid female mouse for not wanting to go to McD. He laughed. Another individual then suggested a Chinese delicacy of noodles. She suggested that we head on to a nearby town to dine on noodles. It was then agreed and she, who wanted to dine at McD, said no more.
It was at the noodle stall when her lunch was imperfect. She felt violated with the presence of two canines around her, which were quite mangy due to the lack of care by its society. And she even asked for a change in her seat. But as she left, the canine appears to be following her, placing itself nearby her. She was more calm this time. Yet, deep inside, she knows she wished that we dine at McD instead.
And today, another day starts; one with two classes by separated by a huge interval of time. It would be a fine day to dine at McD too. Yet, it would depend again. We'll see how things go this time.
